The Cygnus 4 MK4 Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Digital Thickness Gauge has been designed to measure the remaining thickness on corroded and coated structures. It has been specifically designed as a marine survey tool and helps to greatly reduce inspection time and cost.
Its light and simple to use and comes with a silicone protective case making it durable perfect for quick onsite inspection.
The kit is ideal for use on flat surfaces or pipes and the multiple echo probes means measurements can be made through thick coatings taking only the reading of the meal itself.
The Cygnus has been designed specifically for checking the thickness of metal on : ships, storage tanks, pipelines, bridges, street lighting columns, LPG vessels, road transport tanks, offshore platforms, piers, jetties and piles, processing vessels, cranes and much more.
The kit is supplied with: probe, membrane, 15mm steel test block, membrane couplant, ultrasonic couplant, pouch, silicone sleeve, manual, hard carry case.
