The Fluke 435 series 2 contains Flukes new patented energy monetization function. This function quantifies classic active and reactive power measurements, unbalance and harmonic power to pinpoint true energy losses in pounds. The Fluke 435 can simultaneously measure AC output power and DC input power for power electronics systems. The recording time is user selectable ranging from 1 hour to 1 year (0.25 second to 2 hour intervals). PowerWave data can be captured by the 435 it captures fast RMS data and shows half cycle and waveforms to characterise electrical system dynamics. (generator start-ups, UPS switching etc).
