With six powerful current sources plus 4 phase voltage test set, it has an excellent dynamic range.  The 363  is extremely versatile and used extensively by Commissioning Engineers worldwide. It performs wiring and plausibility checks of current transformers by using primary injection of high currents generated from the test sets and is used to test all generations and types of protective relays -including high burden electromechanical relays with high power demands.

The Omicron Advance Protection Software is considered the industry standard which encompasses  wide range of powerful options broken down into test modules which are function oriented. They can operate on a stand-alone basis or alternatively they can be used for automated testing by embedding test plans.
