PME-500-TR Circuit Breaker Analyser

The SMC PTE-500-TR circuit breaker analyser has a very simple design making it easy to setup and use.  The equipment operation is performed via touch screen allowing test parameters to be entered quickly and gives a visual display in graphic and numeric format.  Results can also be printed using the onboard thermal printer.

The PME-500-TR can be connected to any AC supply between 100 and 240V.  Also allowing for true portability the machine can operate on rechargeable batteries which will provide a 10 hour operation time.

Software is supplied with the equipment which allows results to be downloaded, printed and exported into Excel giving clear reporting capability.

Applications

• Simultaneous measurement of 3 main contacts and 2 auxiliary contacts
• Evaluates the synchronism between the circuit breaker poles
• Determines the maximum current, opening and closing times simultaneously in both coils
• Evaluates the state of the substation's auxiliary batteries by graphically showing the coil consumption
• Immediately displays and prints test results, both numerically and graphically
• Automatically calculates the contact resistance in the three chambers
