Inlec are continually investing in niche products and the 9012 XRS hydrogen leak detector is no exception.  The use of a tracer gas technique makes the 9012 XRS perfect for finding leaks in buried pipes with the minimal of cost.

The 9012 XRS leak detector is a complete field-based system based on hydrogen tracergas detection technology.

The 9012 XRS will detect any leak and the inherent characteristics of hydrogen enable fast, precise and safe leak location and qualification.

Hydrogen leak detection is done with an extremely safe, non-flammable and food additive certified five per cent hydrogen in 95 per cent nitrogen gas mix.

Because hydrogen is transported so quickly to the leaks and dissipates rapidly, it allows faster results.

The 9012 XRS is often used for leak detection jobs on: telephone cables; gas-filled power cables; petrol stations; gas pipelines and cylinders; heating systems; water pipes (outdoor and indoor); and airport fuel supply systems.

The 9012XRS is portable and weighs 2.5 kg.

It is easy to use and features visual as well as audible leak signals.

The 9012XRS is waterproof, making it ideal for outdoor use and can be charged on the road via 12V charger.

The range of accessories includes duct probes, areal cable probes, ground probes, surface probes and probe wheeling carts.
