Megger Det5/3R for Hire

The Megger DET 5/3R is a fully automatic, four terminal instrument.  The instrument is suitable for testing earth electrodes and measuring earth resistivity.

There are four ranges covering measurements from 10mOhm to 20mKOhm.

The Megger DET 5/3R may be used in accordance with:
     - BS7430 (1991)
     - BS6651 (1992)
     - BS7671 (the 16th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations)
     - NFC15-100
     - IEC364
     - VDE 0413 Part 7 (1982)

The Megger DET5/3R is ideal for testing soil resitivity which is used to establish the optimum earth electrode system design and location, this avoids expensive reqorking of electrical installations.
