The Elcometer 456 Paint Thickness Gauge F1 Probe is used to take measurements of coatings on metal surfaces.  It is a digital thickness gauge and so gives a very accurate, repeatable reading.  The 456 can measure Ferrous (FF), Non Ferrous (NF) and Dual Ferrous (FNF). The Elcometer 456 can perform more than 60 readings per minute. The battery life is 30-40 hours continuous use with alkaline dry batteries.
