The Elcometer 456 Paint Thickness Gauge F6 Probe is used to take measurements of coatings on metal surfaces.  It is a digital thickness gauge and so gives a very accurate, repeatable reading.  The 456 can measure Ferrous (FF). The Elcometer 456 can perform more than 60 readings per minute. The battery life is 30-40 hours continuous use with alkaline dry batteries.
