Yokogawa

Founded in 1915 by Tamisuke Yokogawa (Doctor of Architectural Engineering) with Ichiro Yokogawa and Shin Aoki, originally it was an electric meter research institute in Shibuya, Tokyo. However later the company was renamed as Yokogawa Electric Works Ltd and became the first to produce and sell electric meters in Japan. The company has spread into 33 countries worldwide and has become known for producing test and measurement instruments, pressure transmitters, flow meters and chart recorders.
