Omicron Dirana

The DIRANA employs Dielectric Frequency Response (DFR) analysis for evaluating the condition of high-voltage insulation systems in apparatus such as power transformers, bushings, cables, and generators.

It automatically performs the analysis and determines both the water content and the oil conductivity within various types of cellulose insulation. The system is suitable for application on assets insulated with mineral oil, natural and synthetic ester, or air/vacuum. Measurement outcomes are categorized in accordance with the standards stipulated in IEC 60422.

Manufacturer Description

DIRANA is operated with the Primary Test Manager™ (PTM) software, the ideal solution for diagnostic testing, condition assessment, and easy data management. PTM automatically generates test plans based on the nameplate data. The measurement results obtained are automatically compared and evaluated in accordance with international standards or customised limit values.

Additionally, PTM provides smart features for data management and streamlined reporting.
