Der Flir E30BX bietet hochauflösende IR-Bilder in 19.200 Pixel (160 x 120) Infrarot-Auflösung. Der mit dem E30BX messbare Temperaturbereich reicht von -20°C bis 120°C mit einer Genauigkeit von 2%.

Es bietet sowohl einen Feuchte- als auch einen Isolationsalarm, einen Laserpointer, so dass Sie sehen können, auf welchen Bereich die Kamera gerichtet ist, sowie eine Funktion zum Aufzeichnen von Sprachnotizen, die bei der Erstellung interaktiver Berichte hilft.
