The TSI Airflow LCA301 Rotating Hand-Held Vane Anemometer is a lightweight, robust and simple to use rotating vane anemometer that provides reliable and accurate readings every time. 

The rotating vane anemometer is part of every HVAC engineer's toolkit. It is a straightforward device to use and consists of a lightweight fan-type vane that rotates in an airflow; the speed of rotation is directly related to the speed of airflow passing over the vanes. As each vane passes a sensor built into the unit, it creates a pulse and these pulses are counted and checked against an internal clock. 

Data gives a reading in velocity or, when the appropriate data has been entered, a reading of total volumetric flow. Temperature is also measured and used to calculate volumetric air in standard units. With the in-built data logging you can download, log and analyse results to PC
