Chauvin Arnoux DTR 8510 High-Performance Digital Ratiometer

The Chauvin Arnoux DTR8510 is a powerful ratio tester that replaces the DTR8500. The large internal memory is capable of storing up to 10,000 test results. 

The device is capable of measuring turn ratios on power transformers, VT/PTs and current transformers (CTs). 

The tests are performed by exciting the primary and reading the secondary for operation safety. The battery pack allows users to continually operate the device for 10 hours non-stop which increases device portability and help to access areas that is impossible to reach with wired devices.

The DTR® is designed with operational safety in mind. Tests are performed at low voltage and, unlike on other ratiometers, step-down excitation is employed. This method, in conjunction with an integral H/X reverse protection circuit, guards against the generation of hazardous test voltages. Within the features of this device, the USB connectivity opens a new array of features such as:
