Moisture Meter for Sub-Surface and Surface Moisture Measuring, With Both Non-Invasive Search Mode & Pin Type Measure Mode 

The search mode is used to assess the moisture level beneath the surface of solid walls and floors independently of surface conditions. Measure mode is used to measure the moisture level at the surface and at incremental depth, when used with the auxiliary probes.

The conventional method for measuring moisture content in building materials such as timber and plasterboard has been to use a resistance meter with two pins attached, inserted into the material, and the measured resistance translated into the moisture content. 

The Survey-master uses a radio frequency method to search deeper to detect any latent moisture. Also, moisture entering the building from outside can be difficult to detect beneath tiles using the pin method, so the RF option allows a more precise identification of the problem area.
