Megger ESG NT2 Earth Fault Locator

The ESG NT pinpoints a sheath fault with high accuracy, and state-of-the-art technology allows for very easy use with a bright, sun-readable TFT colour display. The integrated noise suppression enables use in high activity areas such as railways, industrial plants and high resistive soil environments, enabling fast and accurate fault detection.

A bar graph is shown on the display, similar to the analogue display or by a history display, which shows the deflections of the last 7 pulses. 

• The display always shows zero, due to the fully automatic calibration. 
• The integrated noise suppression eliminates all influences from DC, Railway currents, industrial plants, and high-resistive soil environments. 
• Ground step voltage potential is measured 2 earth rods and the direction towards the fault is shown on the display.
