Haefely Hipotronics Haefely Hipotronic FlashPhone (H Flash)

The FlashPhone by Haefely Hipotronic is designed to locate the exact point of primary cable faults. Both magnetic and acoustic are generated during an arc at the fault. A time delay occurs between these two signals and the delay is shown as a number on the FlashPhone. The intensity of magnetic fields, which are generated at the fault, are shown as a magnetic signal bar graph.
 

A microphone is included with this system. It can be used with an earth probe for soft and/or flat ground conditions alongside concrete or asphalt.
