Megger INGVAR Portable 5000A (100 to 240V AC Supply) Primary Current Injection Test System

The Megger INGVAR is a Powerful Test System designed for Primary Injection Testing of Protective Relay Equipment and Circuit Breakers

It is also used to test the turn ratio of current transformers and for other applications that require high variable currents. The test system is very well suited to portable usage weighing much less than other sets on the market. This makes it an ideal solution for testing on-site, whilst retaining advanced features and functionality. 

Features include the desired current can be set using low test currents to prevent overheating the test object. Output currents can be ramped and held at pre-determined intervals;

• The control unit has many advanced features including a powerful measurement section that can display turns ratio as well as time, voltage and current.

A second measurement channel can be used to test an additional current or voltage. Current transformer turns ratio, impedance, power, power factor (cos φ) and phase angle are calculated and shown in the display.
