Combines Spiking and Cutting LV and MV Cables Into One Safe Tool with Remote Control Operation And A Range Of 150 Metres

Benefit from a safer working method that enables safe spiking of cable whilst ensuring the absence of voltage on LV and MV underground cables. Only cut after the spiking operation in full safety. The Picoup 400 enables the user to limit any resulting short circuit to a single-phase / ground fault when spiking multi-core cables. This causes any protective devices to trip before a 2 or 3-phase fault can be created.

The main difference between the 250 and 400 is the thickness of cable that they are designed to cut with the 250 more suitable for medium and smaller cables. 

• PICOUP 250: This model is designed for smaller cables with a cutting capacity of up to 250 mm²
• PICOUP 400: This model can handle larger cables with a cutting capacity of up to 400 mm²

You will receive next day UK delivery to your door when ordering from Sunbelt Rentals Test & Monitoring . All weekday orders confirmed before 3:00 pm will be delivered to you the next day. If you do not receive delivery by the requested delivery time we will refund your delivery charge in full.
